Our membership is made up of people from most walks of life, religion
and cultural backgrounds. We have a strong environmental ethic but we are
not all ‘tree huggers’
The Greens vision for the future is based on 4 principles:
1 Ecological sustainability
2 Social equity and economic justice
3 Grassroots democracy
4 Nonviolence and disarmament
Our drugs policy is about minimising the harm done to the victims of all
forms of drug abuse.
Get the facts
We do not oppose hazard reduction burns, we believe in a sustainable fire
management program.
We do not oppose development but do oppose bad unsustainable and over
development.
